ESAFE News - Senior Hazloc Evaluator appointed to IEC's Technical Committee

ESAFE's Senior Hazloc Evaluator, Joe Silva, has been appointed as Subject Matter Expert to the Standard Council of Canada's Mirror Committee to IEC's Technical Committee (TC 31) on Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres. The scope of this committee is to develop an International Technical Specification that specifies requirements for the design, construction, assembly, testing, initial inspection, marking, documenting and assessment of equipment assemblies for use in explosive atmospheres. ESAFE is proud to be able to contribute towards the development of specifications for the safety of equipment in hazardous locations.
